So, this weekend is a special one for James, as his high school's robotics team made it to state. They just formed their team three years ago, and so I'm super proud that they've progressed enough to go that far. Especially considering one robot iteration I saw last year involved lots of duct tape and an Amazon box LOL.
So I've decided to cast on a new project, of course, as I'll have 4 hours of car time and bleacher time. So maybe up to 9 hours of time to just sit and knit. Which I haven't had in I don't know how long. Gosh, I love being a Passenger Princess in the car! Starbucks, knits and a handsome driver for the win!
So I'm considering making the Bandana pattern that Madelinetosh gave us to give those of you purchasing the Wool + Cotton DK special right now - $20 instead of $32? Yes, please! It takes just one skein and I think it would make a lovely gift for someone, especially on cold and WINDY days like today. To just have it at one's neck so the cold doesn't get where your coat doesn't overlap? If you order this yarn, respond to your e-mailed receipt and ask me for the pattern.

I'm unsure what color I will choose, but definitely not a solid one. Something multi. Probably something crazy multi. Maybe Fugly Sweater. It's one of my current fave colors from Tosh.
Do you have an easy peasy project you're working on or planning? Do tell! I'm not married to the idea of this pattern, though I think it will be a good choice for traveling.
For those of you who entered the 12 Days of Sock Yarn contest, I finally emailed the winners yesterday, so check your Inbox if you haven't for a minute - especially if you name is Robin, Natalie, Penny, Vickie, Tara, Laura, Bonnie, Stephanie, Martha, Amanda or Kathy. It's a running joke around here that I never have time to choose winners until February, and this time it was March. There's a first for everything.
