Thanks to our free shipping coupon over the weekend, we had a wonderfully busy weekend. Thank you! Henry and I even went in on Sunday to get shipping done. Well, I shipped and he put stickers on things. I'll take whatever help I can get.
We have some great things coming this week - a few new hues from A Whimsical Wood before her busy fair/festival season starts, Estrellita sparkle sock from Babs before their busy season too. And if you wanted more of the newest Regia collection, On the Top, we have restocks of all those colors now. I'm knitting this one and it's a very striking color combo.
There's one super special thing that I want to share. Madelinetosh was able to dye me up on last batch of their Work Sock Sport, the 7 ounce skein (so nearly double a normal sport weight skein) that we were told a couple years back that they couldn't get any more. Well, they found they were able to get enough to dye me up a few hundred more skeins, and I do believe this is the last of it. And instead of $50 a skein (again, a nearly-double-weight skein), it will be $25. HALF OFF.
This stuff is squishy and bouncy and round and holds up really well for socks and garments. If you're one of the many who has been asking if this was ever coming back.... well, it is. But I'm told that I got the very last of it. I do hope that Tosh is able to get this from their mill again sometime, but it's my understanding that the price would be considerably more. Upwards of $60 a skein, since their normal fingering weight skeins are $30 each. Who knows what the future will bring, right?
This may be up on the website as soon as Thursday in the Sale Yarn section, but I'm still in the midst of photographing it all.
