OMG friends! I'm really, really excited about the new Noro Yukata colors that have come out this year so far. They are NOT the Noro colors from a decade ago. They are cute and modern and I'm having a tough time deciding which I'm going to knit up. Three more colors just trickled in this week, and they are all quite nice. And because they come in the 200g balls, the color gradient is looooong and gorgeous.
Color 32, above is just so breezy and seaside-dreamy, right? I don't recall Noro ever making a color is serene and pretty a decade ago. Then below we have color 26, which give me all the fall feels, but with a bit of romance.
Then take a look at 16, which is all pop and punk and divine.
And while I adore all of these, my decision is instead go with yellow. Yellow. Because I rarely go with a bright, sunny yellow even though my faves (especially in tweed) are always the ones that include yellow. So I'm going with this. Color 20-Soka.
I'm deciding between Thresher and Magpie Darling Shawl. I think Boneyard shawl would also be nice too, even though this yarn is slightly thinner, it would give it a drapey look. Then I'm looking through my queue and I see the Palessie shawl. And then I remember the Reyna shawl from years ago. Which should I choose??
How much is a ball?
