New from Cascade Yarns

I'm so happy to share the new goodies we have from Cascade Yarn, new Prints sock yarn colors and 220 Superwash (worsted weight) Handpaints!

I really like these new 20 self patterning sock yarn colors (129-151) and we have restocks too of other available colors from last season. Not only are they fun knits, but they are also quite soft and are ideal for gift socks because they are easy care. And at just $13 a ball, the price is super nice too, right?

It's been years since Cascade has released Handpaint versions of their Cascade 220 Superwash and I'm so glad they are back. The odd thing about them? When we offered them before, they were $5 more expensive than the $14 they are now. So I'm quite pleased with that. Right now, there are 12 colors and I'm hoping they add more. At this price, they are certain to be quite popular for all sorts of thicker hats, socks, mitts, sweaters, etc.

I also have a full restock of Cascade Heritage Wave colors and 220 Superwash Wave colors. These are made to look like hand spun yarn, and each skein is a bit different, as you can see from these pics. Again, the price on these is pretty darn great at just $14 and $13, respectively.

If you like an affordable and durable silk blend option, I have all the colors of Cascade Heritage Silk right now too. These are always popular for in person shoppers here because it really does look and feel nice in person. That bit of silk really does make a nice difference and would be really nice in striped version of the Vanilla Sweater. Now that I'm thinking of it, pairing a solid color of Heritage with a Heritage Wave color to make a striping Vanilla Sweater would be really cool too. Ah, the idea mill is turning!
