We have some cute restocks today from Katie at Yarn Love! Many of you have been asking about her sock kits and we have those back. They don't last long, so if you really want one, please don't hesitate.
Both the Happy Jack and the In Like a Lion sock kit come with all yarn and the pattern. Just respond to your e-mailed receipt and as me for the pattern and I'll respond with the pdf.
Aren't these awesome?? We also have other stunning skeins from Yarn Love in Juliet (merino/nylon), and other bases. Apple Cider is such a gorgeous fall color, isn't it?
And I'm quite a fan of Marvelous Marl. One of my fave winter hats is a Sockhead I knit out of Gilded Aspen.... though the only pic I can find of me wearing it was before I closed the top and added this pom pom. It's not a superwash yarn, so it's one that could felt if you wash it in the machine or use warm water. But it's totally worth the extra effort, in my opinion.
Now that the kids have been in school for two weeks, I've had more time to be a normal human, rather than work all hours of the day and night while child wrangling and/or teaching them during the day. It's downright amazing to have time to knit or bake or read or whatever I might want to do with my evenings. We've been doing some movie watching (particularly the Fantastic 4 movies) this past week, so that give me plenty of time to tink away on my socks. I finished two pairs, my shorties using this yarn and my fall striped socks using this yarn in color 59 (if it sells out I will get more soon).
If you didn't see, I added a new batch of 150g skeins of Colossal Sock to the sale section. I have more colors coming later this week too. This is the special yarn that Dream in Color developed for us to celebrate out 15th anniversary all year long, and it's a super deal for such a great sized skein.
Do you know if you will be getting the chevron hat kits back in stock? If not, could you recommend another line of yarn that would work for that pattern? Thank you!

We sure will! I’d say 6-8 weeks from now, it all depends on yarn availability.
