Wow, that wonderful Tweed Me Sock in the Sale Section is going fast! I do love it and I'll continue to carry it when it's available. After September you'll see the price go back up to the $28 instead of $23.
LTY Tweed Me Sock in Vitalium Vitalis
It's been a couple months since we've had the 150g skeins of Colossal Sock from Dream in Color in the Sale Section, but they're back and darned pretty. They are really nice for fall sweaters (it's on the heavy side of fingering weight), socks and winter accessories. This is the skein they developed for us to celebrate our 15th Anniversary this year and we'll offer it for as long as we can get it. It's that good.
You might have also noticed that we got some Merino DK from Mineville Wool Project too! I'm unsure what we can get from them in the near future, as many dyers are out or low on base yarn. But we have a lovely stock of it now. I do know that we will have some different bases from MWP in late 2020 or early 2021. As you may know, MWP focuses on getting short runs of yarns/fibers that are discounted b/c they are either the end run from a larger company's run, or is a base someone is testing or it's just available in a small amount for another reason. But they get it at a great price and pass it along to us. Over the past few years, it's really become one of our shop favorites. You don't really see it anywhere else in the selection we have, and the price and the quality is just stunning. It's run by Emily (daughter or Fleece Artist founder, Kathryn) so they have decades of experience in this.

My order of LTY Tweed Me Sock arrived a couple of days ago & it’s beyond my expectations. The colors are incredible. Can’t wait to cast on after I finish the hat I’m knitting for my great nephew (at 5 he can’t understand something that could kill me if I don’t stay home - so I’m sending books & a hat so he knows I still love him). I haven’t yet decided if I’ll knit socks with contrasting heels & toes or use them in a shawl.
