Yes, that subject is worthy of many exclamation points, as it's been nearly two years since Malabrigo released their last batch of colors on Sock, which was just a handful... and then another three years before that that we received a nice sized batch of new selections. So, of course, this collection of a dozen new colors is certainly "exclamation point worthy!!!"
Here are all 12 of them. Some might look familiar because they have been available on other bases like Arroyo or Mechita and just now have been optimized for Sock. Some are brand spankin' new hues. Keep in mind that I take new photos with each batch we receive, so this is what the skeins look like today. If you see this post a few months/years after today and want to see what these skeins look like, always go by what our website shows, as those are accurate for the hand dyed skeins we actually have in stock.
131 Sand Bank
Want to win three skeins of Malabrigo Sock of your own? Just tell us what three you'd like and please do share if there's something in particular you'd like to knit with it (the three colors are required, but the pattern idea is not required for the contest.... we just like your inspiration!). Leave us one comment here on the blog by noon EST on Friday, June 29 and we will randomly choose one winner for those three skeins! Thanks for playing!
The Sand Bank, Flavia, and Indonesia colorways are gorgeous! I would totally knit the Cathedral Wrap by Joji Locatelli out of the Sand Bank colorway.

Posted by: JB Pierce | June 26, 2018 at 05:32 PM
Hooooly cow!! Frank ochre won my heart, followed closely by Matisse Blue and teal feather. I’d probably make a shawl that stripes the first 2 colors, then uses the teal as a border. Something like NBK’s conduit, continua or surge? Or like Merricks by Whiskey Bay Woollens!

I love polar morn, Indonesia, and kris.
Posted by: Labrista | June 26, 2018 at 05:36 PM

Posted by: André Holsomback | June 26, 2018 at 05:36 PM
I love Malabrigo!!! I would choose 3 fun skeins and make another Mix and Mingle Shawl designed by Andrea Mowry. Has anyone made one? They are so fun! I would choose: Kris, Teal Feather, and Flavia for sure. Since the shawl takes one more, I would add in Frank Ochre for a pop of color! Ohhh, will have to buy even if I don't win.
