Jessica Macon

"So This is Christmas" by the Beatles, and of course, the best Christmas movie of them all, Die Hard!

Becky Gray

Has to be Harry Connick Jr singing Sleigh Ride.🎄⛄️🎄

When my children were young, my sister recorded “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” for them, and that is something I like to re-visit. It’s a lovely reminder of how jaded we are about the true meaning of the season.

Deborah M

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. I sing it in the car all year long but extra special at Christmas

For me, it’s the Nutcracker ballet, any version. He Sugar Plum fairy music is the essence of the holiday!

Nathanne Verner

Christmas Vacation is my favorite. Clark's crazy Christmas lights, and Cousin Eddie's down home ideas always make me laugh no matter how many times I watch it.

Miracle on 34th Street!

Nothing in particular. But my husband turns on a few minutes of the Hallmark channel every night.....

Carolyn Zewe

I don’t have a specific Christmas song or movie that puts me in the mood. My favorites are A Christmas Story & Charlie Brown Christmas. A few of my favorite Christmas songs are The Christmas Song by Nat King Cole & White Christmas by Bing Crosby. I also listen to a lot of Celtic/Irish/Scottish Christmas music.

Jeri Jahns

I love watching the sappy Christmas Lifetime and Hallmark type romantic comedies with my daughter. One that is really good that we like is the Mistletones!

Nathanne Verner

I love the old English Christmas Carols when the professional choirs sing them. They really pick up my spirits for the holidays.

Alice Wagers

For music, it's all about the John Rutter Christmas Album for me.

My movie is the Muppet Family Christmas. Not the badly edited version available on DVD, but the VHS we recorded off the TV almost 30 years ago

I enjoy watching "The Shop Around the Corner."
I love the "old world" setting of the film as well as the message of the story.
Peace and Joy and continued success with your yarn-y creativity.

Deborah Pogue

I always play Christmas music while decorating my tree and home.

Brenda Kelley

The song, “it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas” always does it for me!

Charlie Brown Christmas, because it's such a classic and seems to be the first holiday film I see every year, and the original Grinch Who Stole Christmas is a close second place!

White Christmas or Meet Me in St Louis... both are my Christmas movies

Libba Hicks

Getting the tree up and decorated and then sitting in the room with all lights off except those on the tree and music playing, any Christmas music

Susan Blair

Any Hallmark Christmas movie! Even though they are predictable and sappy, they make me happy and hopeful.

Beverly J. Killick

Ok, are you really going to read, each and everyone of your messages?

The numbers every day should make you feel proud what you have NOW, rather than what you had at the beginning.

Congratulations, young lady!

We have a whole slew of Christmas movies that we watch starting with "Miracle on 34th Street" on Thanksgiving. And it wouldn't be Christmas without Perry Como's Christmas album as the first to be played.

Danielle Sime

Arthur Christmas! And I want his sweater!

And I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas by Gayla Percy

Wendy Chase

It's A Wonderful Life and A Christmas Carol. Josh Groban's Noel album is my all time favorite Christmas music.

Kim Q

It’s non-stop Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel in my House! I love the Home Alone movies, I haven’t seen those yet.

Our official start to the season is How the grinch stole Christmas but we are those crazy folks who run A Christmas Story for 24 hours straight on Christmas Day !

For songs...I’m a sucker for Mariah Carey’s all I want for Xmas is you... blasting it every time it comes on the radio 🎶

Silver Bells! Hearing it any time of year gives me that Christmassy feeling.

A Christmas Story - gets me every time!

Maura Lindbergh

Has to be the Grinch!

Jackie Cauthron-Schafer

Patsy Coats

I'll be home for Christmas if only in my this song and all Christmas music.

Yes, you already guessed it: Christmas Vacation! I really need a reindeer mug for my eggnog.

The original Grinch movie, Charlie Brown, the old Rudolph the red nose reindeer. Those are throwbacks to my childhood. Now we always watch White Christmas while putting up our tree.

Any song by Burl Ives. There is just something about all his songs and the nostalgia they bring...a trip down memory lane...

I enjoy Christmas movies, Hallmark channel Christmas romances and all kinds of Christmas music from the sassy to the sacred. It's hard to choose the one that signals Christmas but I do really like Joan Baez's Noel album/cd. The song selection, her beautiful soprano and the instrumental accompaniment make it a favorite of mine.

Listening to the Nutcracker ballet and seeing it live at NYCB but the tickets are expensive so haven’t been in a few years. Watching it’s a wonderful life. Never fails to make me examine my life and come up short compared to those in the movie

Mary Harting

It's Christmas when I hear the song Mary did you know.

Kim White

I love the song Baby it’s Cold Outside.

A Christmas Story and Rudolph there Red Nosed Reindeer.

I have to watch National Lampoons Christmas Vacation every year or it's not Christmas! Funniest Christmas movie of all time!

White Christmas, How the Grinch stole Christmas (cartoon version).

My daughters like the White Christmas movie &so lkke it a lot but I prefer Holiday Inn which is the movie that introduced the song White Christmas. As for music, you can't beat the old classics. I love the Bing Crosby Christmas album.

I simply love the song “Mary, Did You Know?” by the Pentatonix. I could listen to it on repeat for a long time. If not that, anything Christmas themed by the Trans Siberian Orchestra!

Agree with another poster "I have to watch "The Grinch" every year...the original cartoon version."
Also, White Christmas and Love Actually.

Ellen Kucharik

It's a Wonderful Life!

So many favorite Christmas movies but "It's a Wonderful Life" is my number one. Listening to Christmas music ("Mary Did You Know" my fav) and baking family favorite Christmas cookies and my Grandmother's Austrian braided bread--all put me in the Christmas spirit!

Christmas Vacation is viewed weekly at our house this time of year.

O Little Town of Bethlehem is one of my favorites.

Robin V

We always watch "It's a Wonderful Life," and "A Christmas Carol" (with George C Scott). For music, it's hard to say, but Handel's "Messiah would be near the top.

Tabitha Burks

There are so many little ways that I love to start off the Christmas season! However, my personal favorites are to watch the movie Polar Express and/or to start listening to the soundtrack to the Polar Express film and other classic Christmas music!

Trans Siberian Orchestra is my favorite. I first heard them at a Zoo lights event and now they always brighten my holidays.
