Come visit Simply Socks Yarn Company this Saturday, December 2, from 10-4 for our Holiday Open House! Our 3500 sq ft shop is located at 1315 E State Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN and there's plenty of park in our lot and the library lot next door. We'll greet you with cupcakes, contests to win awesome stuff, and over 12 TONS OF YARN!
Our Holiday Open House really is a fun day for us. We decorate the shop for the season, we always have amazing new yarn to share, we give away lots of goodies in contests, and we get sugared up on the best cupcakes. It's a winning day! And if you can't make it this Saturday, do come visit us soon.
What will you see when you get there? We have the largest amount of Madelinetosh we've ever had, including 14 special colors that you don't want to miss. I don't think you'll ever see nearly 200 colors of Tosh Sock anywhere else. We can help you put together Fades, find the right skein for the right person for winter sock or scarves for Christmas, or just come to enjoy a cupcake and show off your latest project. We love when you share!
Other new skeins include Christmas colors from Knitterly Things, Fleece Artist, and new hues in our Poste Yarn 250g Worsted Weight (250g for the price of 100g!). All of these will soon be available to those shopping on our website too.
Next week in the shop, you'll see new colors from Mineville Wool Project in the Sale Section. I do believe this is the last 120g Super Sock we will be getting. It's been a great run, but this stuff was available for a limited time and now they will have a short runs of new things in the coming year- I have samples and I can't wait to share them!!! I do hope you'll get what you want from this last batch, which I hope will be all in next week. If you haven't tried Mineville Wool Project yarn before, you really should. It's a branch of Fleece Artist (which has been hand dyeing yarn for decades in Nova Scotia) that focuses on finding limited availability yarns at low prices and passing those savings onto you. You might not be able to get the yarn for long, but it's always gorgeous hues and a great deal.
I never get to come to your Holiday party because it's always the same Saturday we celebrate our Anniversary!! Thirty years this weekend. Sorry I have to miss it. I am sure it will be awesome!!
