On the fourth day of sock yarn, Simply Sock Yarn gave to me...
two skeins of Zen Yarn Garden!
To have a chance at these TWO skeins of Superfine Fingering in the color Giddy Splatter, simply answer the following question in the comments below:
What technique would you like to master in 2017? Do you want to learn brioche? What about mastering the Kitchener without using this (like I do EVERY time)? Have you been yearning to get to know the fish lips kiss heel? Please tell us what's on your to-learn list and perhaps you'll share something new with someone!
I don't think I learned a new technique in 2016. At least, not that I can recall. But I would like to do a brioche project in 2017. My knitting buds have whipped out so many awesome Exlploration Station shawls over the past several months and I'm jealous. I LOVE seeing what everyone is knitting, but every time I see something awesome I get an instant case of cast-on-itis.
I'd like to learn how to crochet to make blankets.

I need to be more adventuresome. I always knit top-down socks on double pointed needles!

There are lots of techniques I'd like to learn...brioche, double knitting, entrelac, and intarsia, to name a few. I'd like to get comfortable with knitting socks two at a time, from either direction.
I'd like to master not starting more projects than I can finish.

I would like to try more color work in 2017. Maybe a fair isle project like a hat. I also want to try knitting socks two at a time.

I would also like to try brioche - maybe just for a hat or cowl.

I want to really learn Brioche. I'm fine until I make a mistake...then I have to take the whole thing out and start over. Not very productive so far. :-(

There are so many things, mostly I would really like to knit faster so I could accomplish more and buy lore yarn.

My goal for 2017 is to learn to knit lace. Not just a bit of openwork, but full-blown gauzy lace.

Learning brioche is at the top of my list. So many beautiful patterns use this technique.
