I like the original (cartoon) Grinch, but other than that I don't watch any holiday movies on a regular basis. Short attention span, I guess.

The Muppets A Christmas Carol, It's a Wonderful Life, and a non-holiday movie Dr Zhivago make the list every year.

It's a wonderful life, A Christmas Carol (w/George C. Scott) and How the grinch stole christmas (animated).

I don't have any favorite Christmas movies, but the Nutcracker is a must. Usually at the theater and any showings of it I can find on tv. My favorite is the Royal Ballet's version.

White Christmas, The Grinch (original), and Love Actually

Christmas vacation, A Christmas Story and How the Grinch stole Christmas

My favorites are White Christmas, Santa Claus the Movie, and Rudolf. All throwbacks to childhood.... There are others, but those make the season magical for me! My sweet husband even bought me a new dvd copy of Santa Claus the Movie last week since my vhs version had to be left behind when we moved.

Bev White

I like A Christmas Story, Christmas Vacation and The Family Stone. I'm not sure if The Family Stone is a Christmas movie, but it does take place during Christmas and I really like it.

Rachel R.

We are definitely not traditionalists when it comes to Christmas movies, so I would say Love, Actually, Die Hard, and Scrooged!

I do not have a favorite movie but we love watching the Hallmark Channel during the Holidays for all of the Christmas/Holiday movies. We watch so many every year that the titles are a blur. I have to watch part of the movie to know if I have already seen it or not!

Karen G.

It's a Wonderful Life, Shop Around the Corner, and A Christmas Carol. All classics!

This was surprisingly hard. I think I'll go with A Christmas Story, A Charlie Brown Christmas, and the Grinch.

Hands down, Christmas Vacation X3. "The little lights are not twinkling!"

Mine are The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and Return of the King. I'm not sure why I think of them as Christmasy - possibly because I reread the books every Christmas vacation for years, possibly because the movies came out near winter break when I was in college, possibly because holidays are the only time to watch movies that long.

1. White CHristmas
2. Christmas Story
3. Home Alone

I guess the full range from Dickens to Love Actually. I don't think I've seen some of the other classics somehow(Wonderful Life).
Thanks for doing this again!

My favorite movie is Love Actually, The Holiday and Nightmare before Christmas are runners up.

Teresa C

Love Actually, Die Hard, and the Bourne series.

White Christmas, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and The Santa Clause

I don't have a favourite Christmas movie but I always make a point of watching Carols by Candlelight on Christmas Eve (

I love Elf, A Christmas Story, and Love Actually.

Anne R.

My Christmas media "musts" include A Christmas Story (the movie), the Rankin & Bass claymation Christmas television specials, and David Sedaris's reading of his short story, Six to Eight Black Men (about Christmas in the Netherlands).

A Christmas Story (you'll shoot your eye out!), The Grinch (with Jim Carrey) and White Christmas.

Jessica Hess

Elf, Rudolph, the Grunch

Holiday Inn, Scrooge (the musical with Albert Finney) and Miracle on 34th Street, the 1947 version.

Annette Poole

My absolute favorite is A Christmas Story. Next is Its a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street. Those are the ones I watch every year.

Christmas Vacation, Elf, and the Grinch... well and runner up to Curious George's christmas movie special. It has some catchy songs. Haha

Christmas Vacation, Walton's Christmas, miracle on 34th St.

Rudolf' says shiny new year, frosty the snowman and emit otter's jug band Christmas. Am I giving away my age?

Rhonda Atkinson
