I bought a skein of MarigoldJen DK weight to make my partner a hat. And lots of plants for my garden. (MDS&W has become my go-to spot for buying tomato & pepper plants over the last few years.)

How exciting for you and yours! MDSW is on my bucket list. Can't wait to see more pictures!
Smiles,

look at all that yarn - pure heaven, huh? How crowded was it (look at all those cars in the parking lot!!)

All your boys (little & big) are adorable!

I spent Mother's Day brunch at the Cinema Center watching Pyscho with my daughters. It was A scream with treats from Zinnnia's and mimosas!
After we went to lunch at the Hoppy Gnome. All in all A fun morning/afternoon.
I would love to have A trip like yours! Maybe next year! Happy belated Mother's Day to everyone!

My daughters got me a Wildflowers bouquet from Jimmy Beans Wool (https://www.jimmybeanswool.com/knitting/yarn/JimmyBeansWool/YarnBouquets.asp?showLarge=true&specPCVID=74130). It is so cute! The daughter that selected it said she knew I'd like the colors. It included a coupon for a free shawlette pattern on Ravelry, a single use Soak packet & a packet of wildflower seeds. If it had occurred to me that Maryland Sheep & Wool was Mothers Day weekend, I might have gone to DC & had my DC daughter rent a car to take us there.

That was my Mother's Day gift as well, although we dealt with dodging raindrops on Saturday and then almost overheating when the sun came out. Luckily, it's less than an hour's drive for me. I grabbed some Spunky Eclectic sock yarn, some fingering-weight singles and MCN from Yarn Daze, Slinky Mink from Still River Mill, and some mystery luxury yarn from Sweitzers Fiber Mill. Fell in love with a Miss Babs Yowza colorway, but have to wait for it to come back in stock online, as they only had one and I will need three for the project I have in mind. Overall, a successful haul, and only went $30 over budget!
