I am finishing up a pair of plain vanilla socks in Black Lagoon. I'm at the toe & then I start on the ankle warmers I promised my partner. I'm planning on using some worsted weight yarn from my stash - probably WoolEase or Classic Wool. I'm going to knit them like stirrup socks - socks without heel or not of the foot.


Reversible Stripes Scarf from Purl Soho ( in Malabrigo Arroyo, alternating two skeins of Pocion, same dye lot, but different enough shades that alternating them was what drove me to this pattern.

The yarn is a worsted weight from Hobby Lobby called I Love this yarn because it has to be soft and washable for this ministry project. When I finish I will go back to my socks. I'm working on the shawl called Mara, from Madelinetosh, and im dreaming about using her yarn for it, but sadly I'm on a tight budget, so it's made in cheap and cheerful, and thankfully soft, acrylic yarn. All these yarns on your blog are the ones I drool over, I wish I had the money to buy them all!


I am working on a baby oddball project from ravelry (Western Region Oddball Baby Blankets). And I am using a random ball of acrylic from my stash (only because when I brought home a skein I bought, I discovered the person before me had used the exact same colorway!!!)


I have 3 pairs of socks on the needles, as well as 2 scarves for the Cardiac dept at our local hospital.

I'm working on two projects. One is a baby blanket for a friend for her daughter's first child. I'm using a pattern called Garter Stitch Baby Bath Wrap as my basis, using Sugar 'n Cream.

The second is for charity, a hug (stole) for a Gift of Life donor family. The pattern is Rectangular Colorblock Bias Blanket, and I'm using two strands of Jo-Ann Sensations Rainbow Bouclé.

Easy-peasy knitting suits me right now.
