This is such a fun pattern! January 1 marks the start of my baby blanket knitting since it should be almost chilly enough in Texas to be able to have a blanket sit in my lap for more than 10 minutes.

Oh I really want to that pattern - it is gorgeous. I'll have to look at all those yummy yarn colors and try to figure it out.

Yours are beautiful!!

I'm just finishing one based on your pattern, but with Debbie Bliss baby cashmerino, which has taken longer than I thought! My niece's baby is due November 9th and I still have ends to weave in! I hate weaving ends! Wish I knew an easier way!

I am totally going to make one, but I want to make it adult throw-sized! :)

As I anticipate moving to a new climate next year, I've been thinking about making a temperature scarf (assign yarn colors to certain temperatures, knit one row a day in the color that corresponds with the day's high temperature) but a blanket would be a much better conversation piece. Hmmm... would be a fabulous excuse to buy a whole bunch of Cascade 220.

You should reconsider knitting socks for you boys. I knit socks for my grand's & they loved them so much. And, if you keep the leftover yarn, you can pull out the toe & lengthen them in just an hour or die hen they start to get too small.

I knitted one already and will do several more. Is a great pattern and Thank You Very Much for sharing it.
