Just when I think I'm perfectly content with an addicted to the two sock projects I'm working on, in saunters a new Regia collection that I can't resist. Take a look at Colormania.
I love how the three plies are all different and change along the length of the yarn. It's a totally addictive and somewhat tweedy look. Socks would be awesome, but so would a hat or legwarmers or even a full sized sweater. I just love this effect, don't you? When I think of hand knit socks, this is the look I think of.
I remember purchasing Eddie Bauer wool socks in high school that looked very similar to Colormania. But I also remember them being unbearably itchy and stiff. Something that this yarn definitely is not.
This collection reminds me a lot of the 8 ply (light worsted weight) collection that Regia released a couple months ago. And boy, could I use a pair of thick socks on my feet right now. It's barely above 0 here.
WOW! I love all of those! Not that I need more yarn... haha. :-)

Well, there went my New Years resolution if no more yarn. Just ordered one of each color.
