Please welcome our newest striping Poste Yarn color, Heartbreak Hotel. If the link shows it's unavailable, just know we'll keep dyeing it every week or so through Valentine's Day, so you'll get another chance at it.
I spent the better part of the weekend knitting up this addictive colorway. I've nearly finished my first sock, after just two days. I ignored my children, yes, but thankfully there was a non-knitting parent around to help out.
If you've been waiting on more Wizard Series colorways or sports stripes, those are now available too. Lots of striping options now.
Here's a tease of our next colorway, a play on a rainbow. Want to help us name it? As you may be aware, we name our colorways (with the exception of the Wizard series) on destinations (to keep with the theme of our restored 1940's post-office dye studio), real or fictional. If you have some ideas for a name for this upcoming colorway, leave please leave them in the comments. No prize or anything if we choose your idea, just the pride of knowing you're super duper awesome.
Clearly this lovely destination is "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"! Gorgeous yarn!

Panama City Beach! It's been a popular spring break destination for high school kids since forever. (Adults reliving the past also visit)

An over-the-top rainbow yarn with a destination name should be Oz, of course!

"Carnival" as in the celebration in the Caribbean that starts in May & ends in July.

For some reason when I saw those colors it reminded me of the crazy bright colors you find on store-bought birthday cakes, that stuff that makes your teeth the color of the frosting, and is awesome when you have it with ice cream. LOL Maybe Birthday Cake or something.

My first thought was Chesterton, IN because they have an Oz festival every year. But, Google just told me that 2014 was the 75th and final festival. But, Google then told me I might enjoy Oz Park in Chicago. It has statues of all the Wizard of Oz characters. If only I had known about this when the girls were little. We read every book in the series out loud. It taught both of them to read with all of the color words in the books.
