A family fun week

I was away with family for the week while the SSYC Super Crew cared for the shop and your orders. We had a great time up north in Michigan.
I met several knitters in the wild, one was a server at Martha's in Suttons Bay, who even brought her current project to the table to show off- an adorable baby sweater she was finishing up for a soon-to-arrive grand daughter. I love how passionate we all are about our craft and how it brings us closer together.
We visited several yarn shops, ate wonderful food, bought art, built Lego castles, attended a friend's beach wedding, and generally had a relaxing and memorable week. It's the kind that I hope to continue to make time for as the boys grow older.
Is there a particular place you seem to vacation over and over? Where and why?

Sounds wonderful and your boys are adorable. I have to admit one of my favorite vacations is time I take alone each year in January or February at Sea Ranch Lodge in northern CA on the Sonoma coastline.

I enjoy leisurely walks along the rugged coastline, an excellent restaurant, lovely room with fireplace and ocean views and time to read, knit and work on my journal for my grandson.

Love the vaca photos. My favorite places to visit are Jacksonville, Fl and San Diego, CA...that's where the people I love most live!
