Striping sock yarn is one of my favorite things in the whole world. It's something that gives me true joy. There's something about seeing one tiny stitch after another develop into a colorful display, don't you think? I have for you today three different striping collections.
First, Striped Turtle Toes from Turtlepurl Yarn. Genevieve dyes her skeins in her Canadian studio. You don't get one skein, you get two 50g skeins which are dyed to match and create perfectly matching stripes on your socks (as long as you pull from the same ends of skein after winding into a ball). Below are colors inspired by angry birds, Pac Man, and Burberry.
Another awesome Canadian dyer, Louise, of Biscotte & Cie sent us some of her great striping colors and kits. The striping kits work with her Stitch Surfer pattern. Shown below is the popular Watermelon striping colorway.
Finally, we have received many requests for more of our Poste Yarn striping highlighter colors, and we aim to please. You'll find all those back in stock (til this batch sells out). We even have a few more to share later this week. Below is the adorable Lanesplitter skirt that Rachael knit out of one skein of Gold Coast and one skein of Cascade Heritage in Charcoal.
Made the mistake(?) of opening the catalog and my husband saw the Burberry and asked for a hat in that oneLOL So, that meant I just had to order my favorite one - Snow White!
Allison, you are a temptress of the highest degree! I don't know how you find all of the wonderful yarns but,I enjoy seeing all of the new dyers. My knitting is such fun because of it!

That Lanesplitter skirt is adorable. But the colors don't look at all like Gold Coast.

Thank u Leslie! I'm surrounded by all this fab yarn all day- it super hard for me to make choices when it comes to projects because there are so many I want to knit NOW!
Cyndy, I'll get more Burberry in a few months.
Savanahgal, it's definitely Gold Coast (pink, orange, yellow)striped with Charcoal. Hope this helps!

How much yarn does it take to make a Lanesplitter out of sock yarn? The pattern is written for worsted weight yarn.
