Here are some of the awesome projects we've had in the shop recently. It's a fun part of our week when you all wear in things you've knit with our yarn, or bring in your projects-in-progress. Take a look at what Penny knit with Opal yarn (this one is the from the retired Faires collection, but Little Prince and Rainforest would look awesome) and the Effortless cardigan pattern. Doesn't a self-patterning yarn look great with this pattern? So inventive.
Chevas recently finished this Sockhead hat in Miss Babs. The color is Deep Sea Jellyfish, and I have it in both the Cosmic Sock and Tarte Sock.
Below is a sock knit by me, for me, in Trekking XXL color 511. I love the varying stripes of dusky purple. I just can't stop knitting Trekking XXL and Opal. It's a sickness that I don't want to cure.
Sue knit this festive Christmas stocking in Dream in Color Classy. Isn't it gorgeous?
SSYC's shop manager, Heather, knit the below worsted weight version of the Sockhead hat in the Fleece Artist, Emily that we briefly had in the sale section earlier this year. She said that the stitch definition and color makes her look like the best. knitter. ever.
Jody is enjoying her Tomato colored socks in MadelineTosh Tosh Sock (she has also made a matching hat in Tosh DK). I also have knit this same color in Tosh Sock. It's awesomely bright. We have over 60 colors of Tosh Sock on the website right now, with more popping up on the website soon, as we just got in a huge shipment yesterday.
Do you like seeing recently finished projects by myself and others? I try and post them on our Facebook page when people bring them in (as long as the shop isn't swamped at the time), and I often post pictures of my own projects-in-progress on Instagram.
I love seeing the photos of finished items - gives me a little oomph to get bat to my wips!

Sorry for the bad typing - "bat to my wips" makes me sound a bit demented and I'm not -- Honestly! I meant to type "back to my WIPs

I love seeing the pictures of finished projects. It gives me ideas and I love seeing how the color ways workout. Also you take great pictures with true colors just like on the website. On Rav I struggle with capturing the color especially on these overcast days.. Keep the pictures coming please!

I love seeing your knitting - finished, in process - and I love seeing what others are knitting. Thanks to all of you for so generously sharing your beautiful knitting.

I love the pictures and all your suggestions about what patterns would work well for different yarns. I fall in love with the yarn first, then try to find a pattern to do it justice. Which might explain why I have too many boxes of beautiful yarn waiting for inspiration.

The project photos are great. The pattern references lead one down that "dangerous" pathway of additions to our knitting list and it is a case of one leads to another, to another! Just like the lovely yarn photos which bring us to shop and.....
