Columbus Day 24-hour Flash Sale! Rowan is 30% off until 9am EST on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
I mean, really. REALLY. These color combinations are so fabulous that I'm trying to figure out how feasible it would be to get a babysitter just to go to the basement and knit.
Kelly and Laura at the Unique Sheep have dyed for us some lovely color combinations in their Gradiance Sock Sets (which go with this pattern), and AND their Luxe sets. What are the Luxe sets? These are sets of 6 25g skeins, each individually dyed to work together in succession in a larger project. 150 grams of 25% silk, 75% merino yarn. Gorgeous.
What could you make with these 6-skein sets?
The Now in a Minute shawl by Brenda Dane. You need one, or someone you love needs one, don't you think? The pattern uses Enfys, with many other color options here.
You could also knit the beautiful Terraform pattern by Cheri McEwen. Photos used with Cheri's permission
These sets are perfect for a) those of us who might find it difficult or stressful to choose colors to work together or b) those of us who purchase most of our stash online and don't trust our monitors to accurately display the nuances in color and c) when youjust can't resist something awesome. Since these 6 skeins are dyed to work together, there's no worry about choosing colors that go together- the dyers did that for us!
No Fair!!! But, I will be putting in an order on Friday morning for oneof the 6-skein set - I'm thinking Calm - with the Terraform pattern.
I love all of these new lines coming into your store - and't it's fun treating myself to something new and interesting and I only need 1 skein or 1 set - what I like to knit hardly ever needs more than one skein.

Got my gradiance sock set and luxe 6-skein set in yesterday's mail and love them. The way the colors blend from one to another is beautiful and I can't wait to knit something fabulous. I've always loved to knit but knitting with these beautiful yarns and my new square needles just keeps my addiction growing.
