We're on the move!

Simply Socks Yarn Company is closed for approximately one week while we move from our former space to our 3500 sq ft restored-1948-post-office-turned-yarn-store!  While you are welcome to place an order online during this time to hold your yarn, it won't actually ship until we "reopen" in our new space on or close to July 26.  Again, you can definitely place an order online while we are closed, and it will ship in about a week. But no e-mails or phone calls will be returned during this time.  I'll post again here when we're back open in the new digs.  You'll also see the "closed" sign disappear from the homepage.

 

Did you see that I started a Facebook page for the store?  I've been avoiding one because I'm just too busy to take on another task, but I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to post pictures there and updates about how the move is going so you can kind of join in.  During the week we are closed, I'll be posting pictures and updates about who is helping and what we are all doing.  "Like" the page to be notified through Facebook when I post updates.

Once we "reopen" in a week, the store will not yet be open to the public for another few weeks.  SSYC's web ordering will be the same as it always has been 24/7, and the showroom will be open one day a week on alternating Tuesdays and Saturdays.  The store won't be open for random drop-ins or unscheduled groups, as I don't have the staff to accomodate that.  So please watch for updates here, on the Facebook page and on the store's homepage for updates on store hours, should you want to visit in person.  I'd love to have you at the Grand Opening (when announced) or on the showroom day!
