I have for you October's selection of the Dream Club from Dream in Color! This regal purple, Ponder Dusk, is dyed onto DIC's new Smooshy with Cashmere base. This yarn is 20% cashmere, which really translates into a ridiculously soft sock yarn. Click on the image below to see a closeup.
The accompanying pattern for this month is Mitty, a cute little pair of fingerless mitts that are knit flat, then seamed up. Just e-mail me with your invoice number and I'll e-mail it back. (The color is off in the mitt picture- the true color of this is in the above skein.)
I admit that I'm not knitting the Mitty pattern with this yarn. I'm actually knitting the Impatience cowl pattern that Swampette designed for the store last year using Dream in Color's Starry yarn. I just think that it will show off this wonderful yarn better than a pair of mitts- plus I get to wear this close to my face where it will be appreciated a bit more. I can imagine nuzzling my chin into the cowl this winter..... aaah.
Impatience is one of eight patterns that have been shared for free on this blog, the most recent being the Halloween Mitts from yesterday. If you look at the top of the right sidebar you'll see all those patterns linked for easy access. I hope this helps you find what you are looking for and perhaps rediscover patterns that I shared several years ago.
love, love, love dream in color
