I'm having a hard time choosing. Do you ever have that problem? You have the inkling to start a new project, but you can't decide on the exact yarn or color to use for that particular pattern?
I'm testing out something new for the store, and it's a fiber blend that I haven't knit before, so rather than pass it along to one of my test knitters, I want to try it myself. I have chosen these two colors, but I like them both equally. So what do you think? Should I knit the lovely variegated and lively green on the left? Or would you rather see me knit the subdued, feminine pink/lilac combo on the right?
Either leave your comment below or e-mail me and I'll cast on this weekend with the one that gets the most votes. Thanks for your help! (and if you have any particular pattern ideas, you're welcome to suggest those as well- I'm always up for something new)
I;m partial to the pink/lilac...

Oh, use the pink and lilac. It is so dreamy and cool looking.

Green! The pink/lilac reminds me of a laundry mistake.

I personally like the green but I think you should go with the pink/lilac as I haven't seen you knit anything in that colour previously.

I vote for the green!

Both are beautiful! I would have a hard time deciding too....but... and this is just me - whichever color you have the most of already - try the different one. (You have me curious about the fiber blend)Can't wait to see how either one knits up and for your review on this yarn.

Purple is my favorite color, but that green sure is pretty, and it gets my vote. :)

I'm pretty sure I recognize that yarn--one I just recently picked up in two colors and can't wait to cast on! I vote for the pinks, something lacy and delicate. The socks on the cover of Favorite Socks come to mind.

Even though I love both and would usually go for the pink/lilac, I don't think I could pass up the green. The green gets my vote.

Both are gorgeous but I'm partial to the pastel colorway - maybe because I just finished a pair of green socks (from the gorgeous Summertime Blues Sock Club colorway.)

The pastel,
no the green,
no the pastel
no the green
the Pastel, yep the pastel.
Not much use am I?

Green. I'm not so much a fan of the pastels....although that pink skein is lovely.

I'm wondering how they would look in two-row stripes, maybe in some sideways-knitted garter stitch socks?

It would depend on what you are knitting. For socks I would go with the Pink/Lilac. And for a lace shawl I would go with the Green.

Green!! I am usually a big fan of pastel. Indeed your pastel looks lovely. Yet the green is simply gorgeous and it's a safer choice to have minimum distraction to patterning!

The green yarn is beautiful and screams "Pick Me!"

PINK!! Although that is probably the prettiest green I have ever seen (great now I will get kicked out of the I Love Pink Yarn Fab Club)
Can't wait to see what you are making.
