(Edited to add that these extra skeins have all sold out now.)
I have a few remaining skeins of some of the last sock yarn club selections, and I'm posting them here for those who would like to snag them. The nature of hand dyeing requires that special colors be dyed in certain amounts, so some of these are just extras and the Fairy Berry and Syrah are were so popular in the club that you asked I dye them again so you could get more for shawls and lace.
These colors aren't going to be offered in the store and I won't be reordering them, as they are limited edition colors for the clubs. It just so happens that I have a few extra, so I'm offering them to you. E-mail me at service@simplysockyarn.com and title your e-mail "CLUB SKEIN" should you want one or more of these (I do have a few skeins of each color should you want to do a shawl) and I'l bill you through Paypal. You don't have to have a Paypal account to pay, it's simply a way to securely use your credit card without going through the SSYC website. The names and prices are as follows. Priority goes first to club members. The only other time I had a few leftovers and posted them here, they went really quickly, so please e-mail asap if you are interested. I'll try to post SOLD in red once they are gone.
Below: Dream in Color's Starry in Fairy Berry (plums, magentas, berry red, violet) . FIber and yardage details are the same as this skein here. It's $24.50 per skein.
Below: Pagewood Farm's Alyeska Sock Yarn in Garden Party. Fiber and yardage are the same as this skein here. It's $29 per skein.
Below: Fleece Artist/Hand Maiden's Cashab in Syrah (a very deep chocolatey-wine). Fiber and yardage are the same as this skein here.
Below: The Unique Sheep's Gradience sock set in Beach Glass (4 100g skeins that when knit one after the other give a graduated color effect). Fiber and yardage are the same as this set here (and a link to a free pattern), with the expection that THIS yarn base is not 100% merino, it's instead 50% merino/ 50% tencel. It makes the skeins a bit shiny, much like beach glass. It's $24 per set (400 yards total, in 4-100 gram mini skeins).
Reminds me of when I was young, a friend decided that she didn't want her bangs anymore. So she carefully trimmed them off at the hairline.
