That is by far the cutest elephant I have ever seen!! :)

I love making my own tomato sauce! We did it all the time when we lived in Italy. But I haven't been able to do it here (not when it is 105 degrees!)

What a cute elephant! They grow so fast. Everyday he gets cuter!

Nice tea pot (I hope you get it) : )

It is amazing how much they change in the first year isn't it? We've been harvesting tons of tomatoes too. This year seems to be a really good year for them. I won't can them or make sauce because I can't stand the heat in the kitchen. I just put them in heavy zip lock freezer bags (without washing). Then, when I want to use them, I take them out of the bag, run warm water over them so the skins just slip off, dig out the stems & use them just like canned tomatoes. It's so much easier than canning & soups & sauces made with them taste so fantastic - just like they're made with fresh tomatoes.

I had a Le Crueset teapot tha self destructed, i.e. without abuse, all of the paint started to pop and crack off.Investigate a bit. I am a hugh fan of their cookware.
