*Disclaimer* I haven't had my morning coffee yet, so the next few paragraphs are bound to be a little somber.
I've been visiting a blog recently of a new customer. Jo and I have been chatting over e-mail and I've been reading her religiously. I want to share a link to a recent story she wrote, about an experience she had in the Balkans. (I'm having a tough time getting the link to come up consistently- I think Blogger is overloaded! It may take a minute to load....) http://celticmemoryyarns.blogspot.com/2006/07/real-meaning-of-yarn-hunger.html
Jo's story is the kind you can relate to when you are having a a tough time. I've had some harsh reality thrown at me the past week, which I may feel up to sharing later. Jo's story showed me that I'm not the only one who clings to the little things when the big things fall apart. It also helps me to realize that while my problems seem to be so big, I'm just one person. There are six billion others facing similar things, and often much worse.
Thanks for sharing that amazing story, and I will send happy thoughts your way!

What every you are going thru, no matter how hard, keep knitting, keep praying, and keep walking through the fire! If you keep moving, day by day, suddenly, you are through it all. I have learned that when you make it through bad times, you have something to share with others when they are facing the fire.
The lady on the ground in the Balkins story knew that. That's why she was smiling!
