Last week, I showed off to you shop manager Heather's Iron Maiden shawl knit in the new yarn line we have in the shop, Wooly Wonka Fibers. Each day we're open, it gets a lot of attention- it's just one of those patterns that catches the eye and is a great use for fingering weight yarn. Today, I'd like to share with you some more designs of Marisa Hernandez, and give you the opportunity to win a free pattern of your choice.

Heather isn't the only one who appreciates Marisa's designs; Rachael (who is your personal shopper and shipper each time you place an order online) is working on a dark red Mariposa shawl right now (above), and I'm considering her Cable Rouge hat in some MadelineTosh DK (like the Tomato it looks like in the picture).

Marissa has been kind enough to offer a few patterns for a contest here. Are you in? All you need to do is look through all her patterns here on Ravelry, then comment below here on the blog which you would choose and perhaps tell us what yarn or color you're thinking of too. To be entered to win, all you really need to tell us is the pattern you'd choose, but we all find a lot of project inspiration in the comments, so if you've been considering a special skein, or would like to share what color you think would be awesome, please do tell. Maybe take a look at our Patina, Madelinetosh Merino Light, Malabrigo Sock or Wooly Wonka Fiber's Artio sock. Leave me one comment by Friday, Feb 28 at noon EST and you'll be entered to win one of three free coupon codes to redeem on Ravelry. I'll announce the three winners (and e-mail them) the following week.
