I love our knitters. You are talented, generous, and appreciate the work and talent that goes into the skeins that we offer you and the stitches you create. It is important to me that I offer you the finest yarn I can find, at the most reasonable prices, and that everyone I work with represent the best of what you would want in yarn and in a small business. So when Tina Newton told me months ago that she wanted me to offer her yarn to my customers, I was so proud and happy. Proud that I got the opportunity to work with someone whose artistry and work I admire. And happy that I'd get to offer you skeins that you'd been requesting from me for nearly nine years.

Last year, SSYC started offering Blue Moon Fiber Arts in our storefront (and online in our sock yarn club and two holiday kits that sold out in just a few hours) and now Tina and I are nearly ready to offer you her yarn in the online shop as well. In less than a week, you'll be able to purchase Blue Moon Fiber Arts from Simply Socks Yarn Company from the comfort of your own home, wherever you are in the world. it's something that's been in the works for awhile now, and I'm so proud to launch this. Monday's the day.

I have dozens of colors of Socks that Rock Lightweight and Heavyweight, BFL Fingering, and even some of the sumptuous Marine Fingering and Marine Lace. I have quite a lot available, but like the most sought after collections, it's likely to sell somewhat quickly. After all, Blue Moon Fiber Arts is a specially selected team of seven, not a huge corporation utilizing machines and lever-pullers. This isn't something that will be in stock all the time. Think of this more like a curated collection of yarn and colors that I'll offer a few times a year. Some colors may sell nearly immediately, and some may last a bit longer. I do hope I have enough to last awhile each time though.

I'm so happy to be able to offer this yarn to you in a few short days. These are skeins that I adore and I can't wait to be able to share them. Though I will admit that as we have been taking photos, we have been saying things like "Oh, man, I can't believe I didn't get this skein," or "OK, I really need to buy one of these before it's gone. What if it looks different next time?" You'd think that after 9 nears of working with yarn that I'd be somewhat immune to its charms. Nope, I'm still bewitched.
