The boxes of yarn just keep coming! Obviously, that's typical of a thriving yarn store, but I swear we seem to have gotten two to three times more yarn that usual over the past month. Right now, we have nearly every color of Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock in Multi, Nearly Solid and Stripe. We also have a huge amount of Solemate and Sportmate. Shown above is Solemate in Jeans. That's part of our wall-o'-Lorna's-Laces. Yummo.
For those of you who love a great deal and a reliable yarn (hey, who doesn't??) I now have Heritage by Cascade Yarns, shown above and below. You'll find every color, weight and fiber available of Heritage (there are still a few more trickling in). This includes Heritage Solids, Heritage Paints, Heritage Quatro (each ply is a different color), Heritage Silk, Heritage Silk Paints, and the 150-sport weight (this one isn't on the website yet- will likely be another day). I'm super excited about this line because Cascade Yarns recently lowered the price, making a 100g skein of the Heritage Solids just $11 a skein. Seriously.
Heritage Silk (and Paints) is a unique machine wash AND machine dry superwash merino and silk combo. This is perfect for dressier socks, for special baby garments, or even adult garments and shawls that you want to hold up to wear while also having that delicious sheen and drape of silk. I get many questions about what would be great for men's dress socks, and I think this like will be great in addition to the Shibui Staccato I already carry.
Finally, if you missed out on the St. Patty's Day kit, we've sent out all the orders and found we have a handful left after considering accidental duplicate orders and such. So if you want one, now's your chance to snag one. Or two. James loves his rainbow socks that I made from the yarn in the kit. Though if you don't want rainbow socks, you can just use the two striping skeins separately to make two completely different pairs of socks.

Cascade Heritage is my favorite workhorse sock yarn! I'm so glad you carry it now. Your store is a danger to my credit card. :)
