Name that Color Contest

What a busy week this is turning out to be!  The special Possum Sock yarn is almost gone, and I'm glad to pass on that Cheryl at Cherry Tree Hill is going to dye up the very last bit that she had socked away and will be shipping me a bit more in a couple weeks.  So for those of you that missed out on Caribou Creek and Java, I'll be getting more of those and some new multis and solids as well.  After that, it's gone.  I asked Cheryl if she thought that she would be able to bring back Possum Sock in a few more years, and she pretty much said "No."  It's just to difficult to get and convince her mill to spin it the way she wants.

But I do have something else cool coming from Cherry Tree Hill yarn in the near future- organic sock yarn!  I'll have some details later, but it's another instance that it's likely that there will be a limited amount available and won't be available again, as it's somewhat pricey and Cheryl was able to get a good price, so I'll be able to offer a special price to you.

Want in on a contest?  Visit the CTH blog and enter to win free yarn by choosing your favorite solid colorway and giving it a great name.  I chose color number 3 and named it Tara.  It reminds me of the curtain-dress that Mammy makes for Scarlett from the curtains in Tara in Gone with the WindSee what I mean?

Tara is the perfect name for that one.
Glad that you had such a busy week!

Tara is a great name for that color - not what I immediately thought of (the color made me think of the Pacific Northwest - I was thinking Seattle or Olympic Peninsula or something like that).

What a coincidence; when I saw the number 3, this came to mind:
