Whoo hoo! I love the new batch of Lorna's Laces colors that just arrived. First, there's Franklin's Panopticon. This lovely color is the first in Lorna's Laces "Color Commentary" series. LL has commissioned several knitbloggers to design colorways, and this is the first. If you haven't read The Panopticon before, take a look. I'll let you know as each new color from the series is released.
Lorna's Laces has also introduced four more colors: Ashburn, Maple Grove, South Shore and Woodlawn. I can't decide which I like more, Maple Grove or Woodlawn. Today it's Woodlawn (shown at right). Tomorrow, who knows?
I have a few more mini skeins of the Miss Bab's solids that coordinate with her multi skeins. Those sold out so quickly, but Babs was able to dye up a few more for us. I'll let you know when more multis (and some new colors) arrive.
Also, a new batch of Hand Maiden's Casbah (ooooh, cashmere) has arrived. This is the yarn I knit for my first Lace Ribbon Scarf. It's amazingly soft and has great drape for lace, and also hold up for socks.
I'm completely addicted to the new Noro Silk Garden sock yarn. It's just such a great knit. While I should be knitting some Christmas gifts, this scarf is all for me. It's going to look fabulous with my black wool coat this winter. Color 245, and a pattern I'll post soon. I'm considering knitting another one after this. What projects/yarn are you hooked on right now? Do tell.
