I started a pair of socks that I found on Knitty. It's the Monkey pattern. I love it, but I decided to knit them in some Hand Maiden yarn I had, Camelspin. It's 70% silk and now I wonder if it will be too "soft", if you know what I mean. The gauge is correct with a size 2 needle, but the cuff with the lace pattern just seems to be slouchy.
Should I change yarns now and rip this up? Or knit the foot with a smaller needle? What about adding another kind of yarn to make it stronger? Does this make any sense?!
Thanks for your help,
Slouchy Silk Socker
