After a whole month, the thumb is finally healing, which means that not only can I again shove potato chips into my face at lightspeed tonight while watching the season premier of Alias, but I can also KNIT. And it's about time, b/c there are several socks in my household that are growing very lonely without their mate:
While I had good intentions for supplying Harry Potter with a mate right away, the most recent book got in my way. When I was finished with the book, I forgot about young Mr. Potter (for the following fun pink stripe yarn) but want to get it finished before the new movie comes out.
This one's for a gift- a birthday gift started EARLY, so while I'm in no hurry to get it done, it too is becoming lonely. Luckily this one is for someone with smaller feet than mine, so it will be finished fairly quickly. Having such huge size 11 feet doesn't make sock knitting go very quickly, which can be good or bad, depending how you look at it.
And, again is the sock that my mother was supposed to get for her brithday last week. This mate I should start on first b/c, well, it's a past-due gift. The colorway is Mermaid from Fleece Artist.
