I am so bored with this sock, I just can't help it. This sock, more than any other, has given me a case of the second sock syndrome. I'm SO over it. Unfortunately, my husband is not. He wants his socks. I can't blame him for it, I guess, I just wish that he would have chosen something more... lively. If you take a look at the Man's Man photo album I added at left, you'll see what I mean. All the sock yarns he chose are gray and, well, gray. Not that most of the t-shirts in my closet aren't gray, but really, can't one choose some other sock color once in awhile? Here's a picture of the little bugger.
I hope that soon I'm done with him (the sock, not the man) and can move onto what I think will be my next project, the Kid Merino socks with lace cuffs on the Crystal Palace website. If you want, you can take a look at the CP Kid Merino pattern. I will probably adjust the pattern to fit a 6 year old's foot, but the socks will be very similar. I'm considering using one of their new painted yarns, which just started being shipped out. I will be carrying them in the new store when it opens next week, though the new colors are just trickling in. I'm looking forward to knitting something more girlie!
Oh, the three-day weekend is coming to and end. Why, oh why can't all weekends be three days long?!?
